Hamburg, Germany - August 14, 2026 - Daedalic Entertainment has wrapped its first publicly broadcast Daedalic Days showcase. Hosted by ‘Meeix’ and ‘Penta’ in a late night talk show format, Daedalic Days - Late at Night delivered new trailers, first looks, release news and playtest announcements across seven games.

Woodo Reveals September 16 Release Date and Pre-Order Start
The handcrafted diorama adventure Woodo will launch on September 16, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Anyone who pre-orders or purchases this version will be able to claim a free Switch 2 Upgrade Pack once it becomes available. The showcase also introduced the Endless Summer Edition, a special fan edition featuring exclusive in-game items, the complete 34-track soundtrack and more.
Woodo combines tactile wooden dioramas, relaxing music and a nostalgic story about childhood and friendship. The game will feature full voice acting in eight languages.

Hordeguard: Winds of the North Launches Its First Steam Playtest
The first Steam playtest for Hordeguard: Winds of the North is available now, giving players their first opportunity to experience its combination of tower defense, action, exploration, and RPG progression.
A new gameplay trailer shows players fighting alongside their defenses, developing a Viking settlement and preparing for increasingly dangerous hordes inspired by Norse mythology. The game can be played solo or in two-player local co-op.

Ghost Haunting Offers a First Look at Its New Voice Acting
Three Headed Monkey Studios shared previously unseen footage from Ghost Haunting, featuring a first look at the game’s English and German voice acting.
The nostalgic pixel-art point-and-click adventure follows eight-and-a-half-year-old Gigi and her demon pumpkin companion Baron Butternut on a mission to open the realm of the dead and bring Gigi’s grandmother back from the afterlife.
Adventure fans who want to check out the voice acting themselves are invited to try the playable demo at Daedalic Entertainment’s gamescom booth.

The Curse of the Crimson Stag Debuts a New Trailer
A new trailer for The Curse of the Crimson Stag offered an unsettling look inside the Whiteroot Hotel and the legend haunting its halls.
The development team also shared new insights into the narrative adventure’s daylight folk-horror atmosphere, its early-2000s setting and its more tactile approach to interaction. Players will use an in-game mobile phone to investigate the mystery, stay in contact with other characters and make choices about when and whom to call.

Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown Teases What Lies Ahead
Developer gameXcite offered a glimpse at upcoming content for Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown, including the arrival of the U.S.S. Equinox with the next DLC.
The team also teased how the upcoming DLC and new free content will work together. Players without the DLC will still be able to experience the new content aboard the U.S.S. Voyager, while DLC owners will then have the U.S.S. Equinox at their command as well. More details can be found in the full showcase segment.

Surviving Deponia Reopens Its Playtest
The team behind Surviving Deponia has reopened the game’s previous Steam playtest, giving players another opportunity to explore the post-apocalyptic trash planet. A further playtest featuring new content is planned for later this year.
The showcase also revealed a new hotspot system developed in response to feedback from the first playtest. The feature will add more opportunities to interact with the world, discover additional lore and trigger new conversations.
Surviving Deponia will feature full English and German voice acting, including the return of Kerry Shale and Monty Arnold. To celebrate the showcase, the original Deponia is also free to claim on Steam for a limited time and remains in players’ libraries permanently.

Barotrauma: Home & Harbor Shares New Expansion Details
Daedalic Entertainment and FakeFish provided an update on Barotrauma: Home & Harbor Expansion, which is scheduled for release in autumn 2026.
The expansion introduces player-built outposts that can be managed, developed and defended in both single-player and multiplayer. It also adds a dynamic economy, new missions and story content, deeper faction interactions and the Descendants, a mysterious new faction equipped with cybernetics, augmentations and energy weapons.
Community testing is planned as development continues, with further details to follow.
